Sliced Ham 100 grams
Lettuce (choice of Romaine or Iceberg – washed/torn) 2 cups

Preparation Method:

1.           Heat a pan and gently roast the capsicums over low heat till they begin to cook a bit. Add the herbs and switch off the heat. Stir well and leave aside to cool

2.          Add the torn lettuce, apple/pear, ham and roasted capsicums in a salad bowl. Add the balsamic vinaigrette and mix well

3.          Remove/Strain the salad onto a salad bowl/plate and serve immediately.

·         Avoid keeping the salad drenched in the vinaigrette for too long as the lettuce would turn soggy.
·            For more crunch, add a handful of croutons.
